Music Composition and Original Score Production for Freshman (Glad Videos)
I composed, recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced the original score for Freshman, a Glad Videos production. Working closely with the director, I crafted the music to align with the film's thriller arc. From initial composition to final delivery, I adapted musical themes to enhance the mood and atmosphere of each scene, ensuring the score seamlessly complemented the storytelling.
Audio Engineer for Chicago’s InterVarsity Encounter Night
As the audio engineer for InterVarsity Encounter Night, I was responsible for setting up and positioning microphones, managing live mix levels throughout the event, and ensuring clear, balanced sound across vocals, instruments, and playback tracks. Working in a live setting required quick problem-solving, critical listening, and effective communication with musicians and event organizers to deliver a smooth and professional sound experience.
EP Recording Sessions
I led a two-day studio session to record a client’s 7-song EP, handling everything from planning and mic setup to tracking vocals, piano, drum set, cajón, and acoustic guitar. This project pushed me to tailor each setup to the unique acoustic needs of every song and gave me valuable hands-on experience in bringing an entire record to life.
Independent ADR Recording
I recorded and engineered ADR sessions for an actor in support of an independent short film project. This involved setting up a controlled recording environment, selecting appropriate microphones, managing levels, and ensuring clean dialogue takes that matched the film’s original performances and tone.
